Rome - La Fontana Di Trevi
After months of closure for a major facelift, visitors of the Eternal City can finally admire the
Trevi Fountain.
The Trevi Fountain was commissioned to Nicolas Salvi in 1732 by Pope Clement and was
completed thirty years later by Niccolo Pannini. A monumental work in the shape of a
triumphal arch
The city of Rome collects around one million euros in coins from the Trevi Fountain every
year. This is the result of a very popular tradition, whereby anyone who throws a coin into the
basin is guaranteed to return to the Eternal City one day. But be careful to respect the tradition
: the coin must be thrown by the right arm with the back to the fountain. Many tourists also
make vows after performing this essential gesture. The money collected by the city of Rome
is donated to charity.
For information , the city of Rome also collects thousands of coins from various countries
around the world.

Tinakachaker
Tamanrasset
When you think of Tamanrasset you automatically think of Askrem, which remains the most
popular site in the capital of the Ahaggar.
However, there are other hidden wonders, including a heavenly site on the Algerian-Nigerian
border.
This site is named after a plant with therapeutic virtues that the Terguis call (Tinakachaker)
Tinakachaker is classified in the Routard.com as one of the first sites to visit in Tamanrasset.
As a matter of fact, this region is part of the Ahaggar Cultural Park. Covering an area of
633,887 km2, it is the home of archaeological sites that go back 600,000 to 1 million years.
the Ahaggar Cultural Park includes as well the Hoggar massif with a surface of 50.000 Km2.
Djanet Moul Ennaga
Far from Tikoubaouine and Issendilene, Moul Ennaga is located in the red Tadrart, a place
that impresses the visitor with its natural beauty, its calm and its legends.
The place is named after a mountain in which the wind and the erosion have drawn a camel's
head.
If you visit Djanet we strongly recommend you to choose this circuit which will lead you
directly to a colour gradation of sand that is rarely seen in the desert… you will travel from the
red Tadrart to the black Tadrart in just a few kilometers… the landscape will change before
your eyes without you even realizing it.
This is also the magic of the Tassili Cultural Park, which has been listed as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site since 1982 and classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1986. It is also
considered to be one of the largest and oldest "open-air rock museums" in the world, in the
same way as the frescos of the Australian Aborigines or the Koisan in Namibia.
